These lights are fantastic with a lot of diffrent modes.I had the lights for about six months and one day they stopped working. I knew the issue was the power pack as it's not rated to function in water. Mine had gotten wet, so I was prepared to buy a new power pack.I reached out to customer support and asked could I purchase a power pack. The customer service rep asked if I could submit a video and I obliged. The rep contacted me and said they would send a new unit and it will arrive in two days. Expecting a power pack only, to my surprise it was a brand new box of stringlights. Govee support stayed engaged the entire time, even after I received the new unit.Outstanding product and customer service. Buy with confidence!

Bought this two string set for Christmas 2024 and we really enjoyed it. I bought a three string set to make a 200 foot light show and the two string system went dark. Possible I crossed controllers or did something wrong since there is no operation manual and the app instructions are pretty thin. Contacted Govee through Amazon. They asked for pictures but didn’t offer trouble shooting. They just promptly sent a new set (eight months after my original purchase). That is good enough for me! Now that I am running five strings I am thinking about buying another two strings to add to my outdoor light show.

So far (I got them about a week ago), they are exactly what we were looking for. They were easy to put up, and they are fun and easy to use. I love that they can be customized with colors, and you can choose if they flash, and how quickly. There is so much customization available, and you can also sync it up with your music, which seems like it should be complicated, but this does it in seconds. It was so easy! They do need a special connector if you are putting more strings together, but they do have a regular outlet end to plug into your source. The bulbs seem to be good quality and should hold up to the elements well. They are not glass bulbs, and they are larger than I expected, which is fun as they give off more light and look less like Christmas lights, which is what I was using before.

I've been running Govee lights on my deck for the last 5 years, and they have been rock solid. So, when it came time to upgrade, the choice seemed to be clear. However, in the words of many in the Bluth family, I've made a huge mistake.For context, my previous setup was 48 ft string of warm white H7011 equivalent bulbs. It's no longer sold, but as I said had been rock solid. Bulbs were 70 lumens each with 15 bulbs, for a total of 1050 lumens. I NEVER ran those at 100% brightness unless I wanted my deck to look like daytime in the middle of the night. They. Were. Perfect.Except.... I wanted to add a little color to our scene. So, I ordered these H7021 multicolor lights in preparation for Independence Day thinking I'll do a little red, white, and blue scene with my new setup. Plus, I wanted to expand the amount of lightning to hit a couple of places I wasn't getting before.Now downside to the 7021's vs the 7011 equivalents is each light is only 50 lumens instead of 70, but I'm getting twice as many, so 30 bulbs should leave me rocking 1500 lumens all over the place. I got everything set up today turned the lights on at dusk and...Well, let's just say turning these on was like letting out a wet fart in the middle of a church service. It was embarrassing... *I* was embarrassed for the lights. Unplug, replug... On and off from the switch... From the app... Brightness slider... Different scenes. These lights suck.There is no "light" coming out out of these things at all, the best you could maybe call it is a glow??! The brightness slider does change them from glow to speck trace of illumination, but I don't get it. Set at 100% brightness, these 30 lights aren't even as bright as my previous 15 light set at *TEN* precent. Doesn't matter the color, scene, pattern, or seemingly anything else.I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed.

Fun lights for any color, or any multicolor light you might want. Seems like an infinite number of settings. High quality, with plastic bulbs so safer for families with toddlers and parties. Totally worth the price. I thought there would be a remote control, but you need to add an app to control. This was the difficult part for me. Trying not to have too many apps, and I already have apps for 2 other brands of lights. The app isn’t easy because soo many options.

I am an alexa user and love the Govee lights - I have other products but this one is very nice since it does numerous color presentations. We really like it. Works and good value - would buy it again.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:These things are awesome!! Endless options of colors. You can literally sit there and talk to AI and have it make whatever you wanted to do! Only had for a month but so far so good!

We put these outside over our patio and they’re awesome. We love changing the colors for holidays and parties. It’s rained and stormed a lot and we haven’t had any issues with the bulbs and wires. Great deal!
