Even with all the positive reviews, I was sceptical using this mouthwash for my gums. I was having some tooth ache when chewing, my gums were red and inflamed, and they hurt when brushing. I thought I'd try this before going to the dentist and I'm so glad I did. Within a day and a half (3 uses morning-night-morning), my symptoms were gone. I continued using it for maintenance of healthy gums and did notice that if I skipped it a few times, my symptoms would start creeping back in, but they quickly go away with a rinse. I use a capful and swish for 30 seconds and don't usually rinse with water afterwards. The taste is strong and although it doesn't burn, you do feel it a bit on the affected areas. Overall very happy with its performance
