It was a warm summer evening when i first used this. It was one of those nights where its full to bursting with energy and theres a sort of electricity in the air, like a storms going to break out at any moment. I think it does as it should. The orchid is still alive.Not sure how much this would cost in the garden centre but I didn't mind this price
