Okay so I have tried several different carpet shampoos. My beagle is 3 now and potty training a beagle is everyone’s worst nightmare! Haha. But this carpet is about 40 years old and having dogs in the home over the course of 30 years this carpet has had some animal trauma. They have the best noses so over time even though we cleaned during potty training they hit nearly the same spot or area. In the summer when it’s humid it would just smell like dog pee and I’d shampoo and the smell would go away for about a week then come right back. I used this product once so far and yes I did saturate the area just a bit more than the machine could do because I have the carpet then padding underneath. I have a watering can so I just sprinkled over the area a couple times with this stuff mixed in and then I used the machine with it and it’s been over a month now and no smell and no accidents so far! (Please don’t have me jinx it) even got out an awful stain I had for the most part. I kept looking at this product over the past year and always was like maybe next time if this doesn’t work. Well I’m now mad I bought 3 other products over this one and spent money on something that’s gonna sit in the closet now. Just happy that my home doesn’t smell horrible anymore.

This the one right here, I promise you! For whatever reason, my cat decided to urinate repeatedly on a very expensive rug. I used my carpet shampooer so many times with so many different brands, and whenever it dried there was always a hint of the urine. I purchased this shampoo solution along with the spray and I cannot give enough praise on how well this stuff works! It’s worth the price!

Pro: This is the first time I've used this, but it appears to work quite well, hasn't changed the color of the brown carpet, and removed 80% of the stains in the 20 year old carpet so that was good (rental). I used it in my Hoover LS steam cleaning machine so it does a great job on applying it and removing the soiled water in about 6 strokes each pass. It dried completely in about 12 hours. I was able to lay down the rug runners with no problem and the bedroom looks so much nicer now.Con: It's an old carpet and I just rent here. The previous tenant died and had a dog so the apartment smelled like a wet dog after it dried for two days. I left the patio door and windows open to air it out while it finished drying. Can't comment yet on how long it stays clean before it has to be done again, but I'll be back to review it in a few months. It's definitely the best product I've ever used so far, including when I've hired professional carpet cleaners!

A must have for pet owners. We have two dogs and a cat. One of our dogs is a puppy and accidents are bound to happen. This product works beautifully in the steam cleaner. Love that it doesn’t have a chemical smell. Our carpet isn’t crunchy after steam cleaning and most of all I love that it removes even the toughest stains.

This does a pretty good job getting rid of the cat pee odor, BUT it has not done anything to stop the cat from returning to the same place where he keeps peeing. He’s a healthy 11 year old neutered male cat, no other pets in the house. He has never urinated outside of his litter box until after moving into our new home. But for the past 4 months, he won’t stop peeing on the carpet in the same place every day. I bought this product, plus I bought a rug shampoo machine.. I also bought the Rocco & Roxie spray. My cat does not have a UTI.. his litter box is not dirty (he even peed on the carpet just hours after his litter box was emptied and cleaned). I’m glad this product gets rid of the odor but I just wish it would be effective as a deterrent to him continuing to pee where i’ve used this to clean the carpet.. Since that’s part of what the product is supposed to do.

I used this on set in stain with very little hope . It turned out it did excellent and couch looks new.
