Did Everything as promised. Easy to set up and great price.

Cannot save video mp4 externally from micro SD card. You must climb to your camera and physically remove the card and insert it into an adapter and view your videos from another device. I own 5 ZOSI cameras for 4 or 5 years. They're all the same. Why I keep buying them I have no idea. I just bought the C518 for indoor use. No matter if you exclude something in the top area of motion detection it still detects it. E.g. a ceiling fan. This fan must be in my view for security reasons but even if I paint it out, or deselect it from motion detection, the camera always detects it no matter what. It seems there is a portion of the top.area that still exists in view technically but not visibly. This is a technical flaw and a security issue for me. Zosi tech support answer was just to move it out of view or use Human detection as a workaround..a workaround is NOT acceptable for security reasons. The camera is designed and advertised to be able to exclude or include specific areas for motion detection. I paid for it to work. Edit: another bad feature. Since it's used indoors, at night during low light situations and times with just a television on the camera constantly fluctuates between normal and IR night vision mode. This gives away the discretion of the camera when it makes noise and it also initiates motion recordings about 10x per minute. I have to constantly format my chip due to the fact ir fills up with garbage very quickly.

Pros: Camera works great for keeping an eye on our pets and works as expected.Once you get the Camera configured in the app the app works wellCons: Set up of the camera using the app is a hot mess, little to no instructions. The little bit of instructions that they do provide do not work

I bought camera to watch my dogs and when I got it I set it up to my phone then wanted to set it up on wifes phone no real good instructions on that I did get it on her phone but took a few days of trail and error not even the way they said to do it . Then I tested the two way sound and in order for someone to hear you on the camera you need to be with-in a few inches to hear person on the phone and still not really able to tell what is being said . Tried to talk to dogs while away from house and in order for them to hear us we have to scream in phone ,I reported the issue with two way voice about a week ago and still not heard back from anyone as to what to do . I looked up a phone number for tech support called and the recording said to go to website for help or to call the same number I just called and AI hung up on me . All their tech support is to be done by emails and they take up to 24 hours to respond and some times over a week and counting .I do not recommend anyone buy a ZOSI camera

The C518 camera from Zosi exceeded my expectations. The image quality is its strongest feature. It also has a simple but reliable and effective UI. Initially the camera was able to link to Alexa but would not actually display an image on Alexa devices. However, I contacted customer service and through the efforts of Slina at Zosi was able to get a firmware upgrade that solved the problem and now the camera eorks flawlessly with Alexa. I was so happy with the was Slina got the problem resolved that I bought another C518 camera and when it also needed the firmware update, Slina again took care of it so I now have two cameras in operation with great images and easy access via Alexa (as well as through the Zosi Smart App).
