So I bought this product not really knowing that it would be more for construction workers and not a slow releasing device to auto belay for a rock climbing wall. I ended up returning this because it doesn't help me but from what I saw was a super high quality product that I would trust with my life! The thing is solid and built like a tank with quick response. Please do buy rhis if you are working construction or similar things, but please don't buy it for trying to build your own rock climbing wall!

What a difference! I’m working on siding a house right now. Generally I have a heavy rope with a cam leaver that needs to be adjusted constantly so that I have no more than 6 feet of slack in the line. That heavy rope is forever in my way. I don’t have to worry about adjusting the slack in the rope or having something in my way or how much slack I have. The automatic retract feature is set loose enough that I don’t feel like something is constantly pulling on my harness there is no rope to get in my way and the fall arrest works immediately when the cable is rapidly pulled on, much like a seatbelt. These are expensive, not when compared to similar products but when you compare it with the standard rope that is typically used it’s an investment. My production has increased but only by a small amount, but time is money and eventually it will pay for itself. Not having the constant headache if dealing with an unruly rope and constantly adjusting the cam lever reduces my frustration. That alone is priceless. It might even increase my lifespan though stress reduction.

Lightweight, but heavy-duty quality materials. Works flawlessly. Definitely feel safe.

If you are shopping for a lifeline cable, you are pretty much looking for one thing - will this save my life? The answer is yes. I'm impressed with how well this is built, and I feel confident it will work when needed - I hope I never need to find out.

Very well made and heavy duty. I tested it out and it locks immediately on a fall, but lets out cable if moving slowly/normal speeds. This is awesome! I feel so much safer up on the scissor lift now when I need to reach outside the cage.
