They seem nice and I’m sure most people would like them but they aren’t suitable for my needs. I’m a chemo patient who is wearing caps that cover the tops of my ears until my hair grows back. The caps are irritating to the piercing in my cartilage and I was hoping these would not hurt. However, the front part is larger than I hoped and the post is so long that it pokes me in the head and these are just as irritating as my metal studs. I’ll be returning these.

The earrings that I received are flat on the front. I suppose you could glue flat-backed gems or other clay pieces if that is what you wanted. Overall, a really great find.The earrings are very comfortable so far, and are hard plastic for the earring itself, with a silicone backing that stays on well. It has only fallen off once so far, and that was because my towel caught the front piece while I was drying my hair. I can sleep with them in without a problem, and can do everything I normally do if I were wearing earrings. I had to get X-rays done recently, and didn't have to worry about removing expensive jewelry and could just leave these in.
