Purchased in 2020, for homemade cereal (Red River knockoff). It still looks as good as the day it arrived. I don’t think that you can go wrong with using this for storage of cereal type items. It has a nice form factor for cupboards and 2 1/2 quarts (10 cups) is a perfect size.

This review is for the medium size container. It fits the regular size cereal box and the next size up if the cereal is a smaller shape. It's very well made. Thick but clear plastic. Top fits securely. It replaced my old tupperware cereal containers and I'm going to buy the next size up for the jumbo boxes of cereal. I'm not paid for my reviews so they are independent of any promotion. I think the price point is good considering this is going to last a long time.

Maybe a bit expense, but it does the job. Keep the crunch in my cereal!

This is a very sturdy product. I use it to store my cereal and it keeps the cereal fresh. However, I have to hit the opening with my fist to get it open. If you want a child to get their own cereal, I dont think they could do it.

After reading the multitude of reviews, I was uncertain which container would work best. I decided to take a chance on the 2.5 qt size.It turned out it is a perfect size for a 21 Oz bag of Raison Bran.

Really nice food containers; solidly constructed, easy to hold (indentation both sides for your fingers), one hand operation for the lid, and best part of all the pour spout does not leave minute particles or food dust around the lip.We tried the softer plastic cereal/food containers with the round pour spout on the top with a silicone seal and it was cheap feeling and every pour left food around the rim of the pour spout. These OXO containers are much more expensive but you get what you pay for!For those reviewers that are complaining they don't seal airtight/watertight READ THE DIRECTIONS, CHECK THE SEALS and make sure the lid is clicked securely into place on the pivot joint. We filled each container we ordered 1/2 half full of water and turned upside down and not a single drop dripped through on any of them.Helpful hint; whenever you clean the lid remove all the seals and let them air dry completely otherwise mold can grow. With that said the need to submerge the lids or to clean them will probably only need to be done a few times a year.Manufacturer says they're dishwasher safe, but to extend their life as with all plastic products it's best to only hand wash!Its a keeper, would rate 10 stars if it was an option!
