Great for
It is very ergonomic. It is very lightweight but feels durable. I found it easy enough to clean, being waterproof. The included cleaning brush could be better. If you are a caretaker, nurse, or aide, it is great for shaving someone else. It comes with varying guard sizes, but it's not powerful enough to use for haircuts. I have never had it pull, nick, or irritate skin even without the guard.

Worth it
Honestly gave in to the reviews. A girl I was seeing told me I look like Austin powers when I take my shirt off. This thing made managing that easy. Useful for getting arm hair and leg hair all one length. Would recommend great battery life. Easy enough to use and easy enough to clean. Hope this helps

attachments
I found that I didn't need to use any attachments for manscaping. I started by using the middle sized attachment to mow down below the belt first, but it wouldn't go as short as I wanted and took many swipes. The same with the smallest attachment. I couldnt get down to nearly bare until I dispensed with all three sizes. It seemed that all three of them inhibited the blades from cutting, so I found that using it without attachments over my whole body removed hair way more effectively and quickly. I had no nicks. Doing my back was a little tricky. The whole job took about twenty minutes. It didn't seem to do much of anything for my shadow, so I'd go with a dedicated shaver for that. The instructions need a magnifying glass to read, and are unclear. They say to oil the blade before and after use. It's hard to determine where the oil goes though. To clean it, you just run water through a hole on the back. I found that this wasn't effective and perhaps because of the oil, the blade still had a lot of hair stuck to it, which can be further cleaned off using the provided brush. It says to charge for 30 hours, so I waited for a day before using it and it seemed to be fully charged which lasts for 40 minutes. After a couple of uses, I could hear the motor slowing, which could be because the blade was clogged, So the question is, is the oil getting to the blade and is rinsing it off really doing anything. It says to just shake the water out after use, but I found that when I plugged it back in, water drained out the bottom and puddled around the contacts of the charger. Overall, it works. Cleaning is complicated. On the other hand, I'm thinking I could find a better value. It says that to return it, put it back in the original packaging and include a printed reciept, even though I uploaded my reciept upon registration, which has to be a pdf, and then you need to upload a picture of the model and serial number from the bottom of the unit in jpeg or something similar.

Best trimmer for Men and Women
The media could not be loaded. I brought one of these trimmers back in 2020 and five years later I just broke the teeth by beating it on the sink. Now my wife is upset because I broke “our” only trimmer and I have to buy “us” a new one. She owns multiple trimmers that are brand new.

Wayyy better than Manscaped
Got this after my manscaped lawnmower died. This clipper is durable and high quality. It has a nice weight and fits in the hand well. Its odd shape makes it really easy to reach difficult and awkward spots. It isn’t quiet, but not too noisy either. It’s easy to clean and maintain and comes with a nice carrying case. It is highly functional and cuts my hair more cleanly than any other device I have used. The thing’s motor is powerful and got me scared at first, but once I was brave enough I found it is surprisingly gentle on my skin so long as I’m being careful and deliberate. I haven’t cut myself with this yet but the manscaped lawnmower cut me lots. Do yourself a favor and just get this.

What a freaking joke
I bought this because The Wirecutter recommended it. What a joke that turned out to be. Everything about this product is terrible.Start with the battery. It's NiMH, not lithium ion. Ancient tech, lower capacity. Takes ages to charge. I thought we were done with this. There's a reason that every laptop, phone, gadget in the last several decades uses lithium ion, but Panasonic missed that memo. The charger is some kind of perverse prank. It has no cord, it expects you to find a wall outlet with enough room to stick this gigantic thing against the wall. The charge time rating printed on the cutter is 20 hours. 20 HOURS. The charger output is rated for 50-60 mA, which puts the term "trickle charge" to shame. Oh and it weighs a ton, too -- old school brick style. Any old ordinary USB charger will output 40x that current and weigh almost nothing. This design is an embarrassment. When you try to take the clipper out of the charger, it falls out of the wall socket. So that's great as well.Did you intend to travel? Well I hope you planned on carrying this weighty brick of a charger with you, because the clipper uses a proprietary connector. You can't use anything but their special charger with it. If you lose the charger, you're screwed. Do you know how many problems could be solved if this thing didn't have a 20 year old design and had a USB C port and li-ion battery? It would charge faster, last much longer, you could use any charger, you would not have to bring a special charger with you, it would not require unobstructed wall space, etc.Did I mention the charger isn't even multi-voltage / universal?! Traveling to somewhere with 230V? Well forget it, you can't use this. Unbelievable. It supports 100V and 120V only. Again, any old USB charger that you find on Amazon will be multi-voltage these days.I was prepared to accept all of the above if the clipping experience was good. It was not. I had cuts that drew blood WHILE USING THE GUARD. I didn't dare use the bare cutting edge, I can only imagine the rivers of blood in that case. It was not a remotely close or smooth trim either. The storage case is a complete afterthought. Extremely lightweight waxy cloth material with a cheap zipper that fits only the clipper, not the charger. But remember, you'll be lugging that brick with you anywhere you go, so I guess you're expected to just have that separately. The construction is cheap plastic. If you were expecting something up-market for the price like maybe a ceramic blade, forget it. Everything about this is cheap, cheap, and old.And all for the low, low price of... wait, $75? That's more than the vast majority of trimmers on the market. What kind of scam is this? The ONLY good thing about this product is the head is angled in a novel way. EVERYTHING else is ancient, obsolete tech. I'm sure you can find a junk trimmer at the dollar store that cuts about as well as this thing, and probably charges in less than 20 hours too.
